Donkey/Elephant Politics; The Fools Game – Part 1

Posted by Boom on Aug 31, 2010 in Government, Life, Media, Politics, Society, World Affairs

I started writing this Blog in Oct. ’08 speaking out against the Bush Administrations actions with the bailouts, TARP, and all of that mess, though my fight goes all the way back to the very un-patriotic Patriot Act.

After Obama was elected I began writing against his policies, which I believe are even more un-patriotic than Bush’s. Frankly, in my view we went from bad to worse. Bush may have set the stage, but Obama is going full steam ahead to finish the job. After all, they both work for the same masters. And no, those masters are not the American people. Anyone who thinks the President is actually “in charge” is being deceived.

Anyone who thinks “their” party is the good guys and the other party the bad guys is being played for a fool. Both political party’s are corrupt. Both party’s have members who are conservative, liberal, or moderate in their views. Then there’s the Progressives. I separate Progressives as they are the current “water boys” for The Powers That Be, aka TPTB.

If you think I’m some conspiracy theory nut because I believe in The Powers That Be you should think long and hard about my next statements.

You, me, everyone alive uses whatever resources they have to try and shape society they way they believe it should be. Naturally, so do the uber-rich. But the uber-rich have vast resources, power, and connections that allow them to have much more influence than the average person. Is it really a stretch to think that a few of them with similar beliefs have joined forces in an effort to shape society in their own image? If you were a multi-billionaire and had multi-billionaire friends who believed the same things you do, would you not join forces to help achieve your vision? Of course you would.

Our politicians are bought and paid for by those uber-rich, aka TPTB. That’s how they get elected, at least at the national level. No politician makes it to the national stage without the backing of TPTB. And our politicians owe their benefactors many “favors” for this backing. So the politicians agenda is The Powers That Be agenda. And the politicians will faithfully follow that agenda knowing that TPTB can get them removed from office a lot quicker than they got in. In some special cases TPTB can “convince” those who fail to follow the agenda to commit “suicide”.

There’s really no difference between the two political party’s in that regard. But TPTB know that to control us, the “unwashed masses”, they must keep us busy. Divide and conquer is a very old axiom, and it is still used today by TPTB. They use the two party’s to pit Americans against each other and keep us divided and fighting amongst ourselves, so that we are too busy to see what they are really up to. Because they know that even the “unwashed masses” will unite and foil their plans if we know the truth.

In Part 2 I will give more examples of how TPTB use their influence and power in the American political system, and will explain some of the tactics they use against us.

The New Gestapo

Posted by Boom on Aug 29, 2010 in Constitution, Government, Law, Politics, Society

This is what happens if you question Obama, his Administration, or anything the current corrupt government is doing. Be warned, this is the next step towards a Police State and it’s coming sooner than you think.
Even though I don’t agree with him, this man was doing nothing illegal. What he was doing was simply unpopular with the private security goons, so they attacked him. (Yes, I said attacked) Not one citizen in the crowd had a problem with the man or his sign. There was no disturbance until the private goons assaulted the man. The vast majority of the crowd were against the actions taken by the minimum wage security drones. And the State Police participation is absolutely appalling. Small insecure men given authority will always become oppressors.

I’ll probably go to jail now for expressing my own free speech rights, but they can’t arrest us all. Stand up America!

My Search For Harley Davidson Parts

Posted by Boom on Aug 10, 2010 in Life, Motorcycles, Seattle, Society

My bike has been down for quite some time now, needing parts I could not afford at the time. Recently I was able to buy the most expensive parts and start the repairs.
And I almost had everything together and working enough to try a test start of the motor. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to install a spring. Now one may think a spring would be no big deal, but in this case it was disastrous. I forgot the spring that goes in the starter jackshaft to pinion coupler. And I found out the hard way that doing that ends up with a destroyed jackshaft coupler. Crap!
So I got on the phone to find a replacement coupler. Now, I don’t usually buy parts or do business with most Harley Davidson dealers for the following reasons. First, they are staffed with incompetent help. Second, every part they sell is highly overpriced. And third, if you didn’t buy your Harley from that dealer you will be hard pressed to get good service. I have many experiences to provide examples of my reasons, but I won’t go into them here. But since the Harley dealer is the closest shop to me I figured I could at least call and get a price from them.

Well, they had the part in stock and quoted a price of $22.50. Not a bad price for the coupler so I figured I’d drive down there and pick it up. As I told the parts guy what I needed he recognized me from the phone and quietly proclaimed he had looked up the wrong part. (even though I was very specific on the phone, naming the part and describing exactly where it went) So I have him look up the right part and he tells me they don’t have one. Terrific. Out of curiosity I ask the price on that part. He says $17.10.

Next I called a custom shop down the road, they didn’t have the part. So my next call was to another Harley dealer in the area. They said they have one (1) in stock so I tell him to hold it for me and I head that way. When I arrive he pulls the part and I check to make sure it’s the right one. It is, cool! But as he rings it up it comes up as $57. What the….?

After my complaining and informing him that his competitor quoted me $17.10 for that part, and I could get an aftermarket one for $19, he got busy on his computer and eventually sold it to me for $17.10. Gee, that tells you something about that dealership doesn’t it. The part really is $17.10 but they sell it for $57 to those who don’t know any better. Pretty crappy business practice in my opinion.

So once again I have reinforced my decision not do business with any Harley Davidson Dealer. The first one has an incompetent parts counter, the other is just a plain rip-off. Remember, this is just one incident. I have many other similar horror stories about dealing with Harley Dealerships.

In the end everything worked out. I got the part for the right price and my bike is one day away from being back on the road.

What BP and Obama Don’t Want You To Know

Posted by Boom on Aug 2, 2010 in Environment, Government, Law, Life, Media, Politics, Society

Where has the coverage of the BP Oil Disaster gone? Hardly a mention of it in the Main(Lame) Stream Media. Did it go away? No, absolutely not. Is the oil still in the Gulf? Yes, absolutely. Are animals and birds still washing up on shore? Yes, absolutely, and Alexander Higgens has the photos to prove it. Warning, the photo’s are heart wrenching.

BP says the well is capped and everything is hunky dory. Do you believe that? IF so I got a bridge to sell you, give me a call. One of the most important questions I have now is what kind of dog and pony show BP is actually putting on. Looking at the MMS (Minerals Management Service) application from BP, the well that they are showing us pictures from the ROV’s are actually coming from Well “A” which was abandoned in February. The Well that blew out was Well “B”, and we are no longer seeing any images of it. Capped? Well sure, Well A was capped in February. What about Well B? (The one that supposedly had the blow-out)What’s going on there BP?

The lengths to which BP and the Administration are willing to go to hide the full extent of this disaster from the American people is appalling to say the least.

Is Obama Using The Gulf Spill To Advance His Agenda?

Posted by Boom on Jun 13, 2010 in Environment, Government, Politics, Society

I have been suspicious of the Administrations response to the Gulf Oil disaster since day one. They were slow to respond, and then only with words. Aside from the Coast Guard being in charge, as is mandated by law, the Government has done nothing towards mitigating the damages or cleaning up the mess.
But last week Obama let slip the motivation for his inaction. During a Press Briefing he made a point to state that the spill is an example of why we need to implement a carbon tax system to push us towards clean energy.
Oh, that connects the dots. Remember when Rahm Emanuel said you never want to let a serious crisis go to waste? Well it appears that the Administration is putting that philosophy into action.
Yes, mustn’t let this disaster go to waste. The Administration will use it to revive Cap and Trade. Yes my friends, Cap and Trade was DOA before this disaster. Now Obama has his perfect impetus to enact Cap and Trade. And the magnitude of this disaster will convince the average American of that. The disaster has created the political and public environment to push for Cap and Trade. Mark my words, Cap and Trade will be resurrected, and probably passed.
Rather than focus on prevention and clean-up, the Administration sees this as an opportunity. The Gulf Oil Disaster is bad enough, but to use it as an excuse to further a political agenda is downright criminal.

The Gulf Oil Spill Cover-Up

Posted by Boom on Jun 13, 2010 in Economy, Environment, Government, Media, Politics, Society

It gets clearer as time goes by that Obama is not in charge of the Gulf Oil Disaster. It’s obvious that BP is calling all the shots. Who is guarding the beaches? Who is keeping the Media away from clean-up workers? Private Security hired by BP.

Why is the air-space over the spill restricted? In order to fly over the area one must get permission from BP. BP is now in control of our air-space? Since when did we cede sovereignty of our air-space to a foreign corporation? The only reason I can come up with is to hide the truth. No special air-space restriction is needed for the recovery, clean-up, or capping the well. The only real purpose that serves is to keep people from seeing what’s really going on in the Gulf.

BP’s efforts so far have been centered on preventing the full scale of this disaster to become known, and to protect their public image. Forcing the surviving platform workers to sign non-disclosure agreements was the first sign. The low-balling of the size of the leak was obviously a deliberate act by BP. Every expert who saw the size of the spill immediately concluded it was many times that size. But BP, the oil giant, can’t determine flow rates? Absurd. The excessive use of dispersants to keep the oil under water where it’s not visible was next. Then BP closed the air-space over the area. And now Private Security hired by BP is preventing the news media from interviewing workers, contrary to BP’s own statement of two days ago. They lie like a rug, and this video is the proof.

It’s clear to all but the most naive that BP is calling all the shots. Why? What power do they hold over the President of the United States? Obama’s talk about “kicking someone’s ass” are just “feel good” words. Politicians use words primarily to deceive. Obama can say whatever he wants, but I won’t believe any of it until I see him actually do something besides talk about this mess.

Why is he not ordering the use of the many clean-up methods that have been offered. That would be a decent place to start. I’ve seen two demonstrations of technology’s that work miracles compared to what is currently being employed, and no one has even responded to these offers. This is an “All Hands On Deck” situation and yet offers of help are being turned down. Why? What possible harm can it do to have more people and technology working to clean up the mess?

The astute observer has to know that there is much more to this disaster than meets the eye. The response from both BP and the Obama Administration are truly baffling. Unless you factor in some hidden agenda. Then it all makes sense. What that agenda is, and who’s behind it, will eventually be revealed. But I fear by that time the entire Gulf of Mexico will be a dead zone.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Conservative Biker has been informed by an inside source that BP is still intent on salvaging the well. This source also tells me that the Obama Administration has been hindering the clean-up efforts. And now I know why. My next post will reveal the Administrations strategy.

Memorial Day Tribute

Posted by Boom on May 31, 2010 in Defense, Government, Law, Life, Society

In Memorial

This Memorial Day we honor those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.
To many Americans, this is simply a “day to play” and have a long weekend. I fear many Americans don’t really take pause and consider what this day really means.

Memorial Day, originally observed on May 30th, began in 1868 as Decoration Day to honor Union Soldiers who gave their lives in the Civil War. After WWII it was expanded to include all military personnel who gave their lives for their country. In 1967 it was officially renamed Memorial Day and in 1971 under the Uniform Holidays Bill the date was changed to the last Monday in May.
This is a day for solemn reflection. A day to Honor those who have died defending our Freedom.
So please, while you BBQ, picnic, or watch sports, take a moment to remember those who sacrificed their lives so we could remain free. And if you see a member of our Armed Forces, let them know you care by saying Thank You!

God Bless America!
